Coast Oban Restaurant

Identity, Promotional Material and Website

Coast is a small a la carte restaurant situated in the small town of Oban in Argyll. Founded by Richard and Nicola Fowler, it has been getting rave reviews over the last year, and is by far the best restaurant in the area.

We were asked to look at branding the restaurant from the very outset, and had to look at how the restaurant wanted to position itself both against rival restaurants in Oban, and when looking at the bigger picture of appealing to visitors to a holiday destination, without compromising quality or narrowing their client base.

The logo is designed to represent land and sea, as the Fowler's source all of their produce from local suppliers, meat from farms all around Oban, and fish landed just along the road from the restaurant.

The website is small, but stylishly executed, and features images from the restaurant, as well as various menu options.
